population. P2 refers to rural

p1 = x1 / n1 = 60 / 200 = 0.3
Sample size = n2 = 160
p2 = x2 / n2 = 68 /160 = 0.425
p = (x1 + x2) / (n1 + n2)
= (60 +68) / (200 + 160)
= 0.3555
q = 1 - p
= 1 - 0.3555
= 0.6445
