if i use a two tailed test and a significance level of 0.05 should i accept or reject that the average weight of the chicken is the require 2.00 kg

n = 26

This is the two tailed test .

The null and alternative hypothesis is

H0 :   = 1.60

Ha :    1.60

Test statistic = t

= ( - ) / s / n

= (2 - 1.60) / 0.50 / 26

= 4.079

p(Z > 4.079) = 1-P (Z < 4.079 ) = 0.0004

P-value = 0.0004

= 0.05  

0.0004 < 0.05

Reject the null hypothesis .
