A researcher requires a substantial amount of well-thought-out information to be obtained through structured questions, at minimal costs, from a sample that is geographically widely dispersed.

Mail survey method

Explanation:

Since population is geographically widely dispersed, personal interview will be very difficult. Telphonic interview also will not be feasible because a substantial amount of well-thought-out information to be obtained through structured questions and this is very difficult through telephone interview. So, only Mail Survey Mathed is applicable.But the Mail Survey has Non Response Bias because many respondants may not take the trouble of carefully studying all the questions and answering them properly. In order to get the proper response from all participants, wide publicity of the same is to be done in local media about the importance of the survey and the requirement of proper response. There can be an incentive award for best suggestions in the survey questions.
