- A researcher interested in childhood health and wellbeing
collects data about the activity levels of children. They have 100
children wear pedometers during recess and then record data about
the total number of steps each child had during recess as well as
the number of aerobic steps each child had (these were two
different variables). Some information about each of
these two measures appears below. It is enough to sketch the
general shape of the distributions of these two measures. Make
sure, in your sketches, to label the axes to indicate what is being
represented. You should have two separate graphs – one for the
overall steps and one for the aerobic steps.
