Prevalence = Condition Positive / Total Population

here, we need to find the confirmed prevalence and hence we will use the confirmed cases as the condition positive rather than the estimated cases which is 4000.

Confirmed Prevalence = confirmed cases / Total Population

= 495 / (108 * 10⁶⁾

= 0.458333 * 10^-5

Hence, confirmed prevalence in Wuhan as of Jan 24, 2020 per 100,000 is 0.5
