The order in which the marketing representatives present the campaigns to their client will indicate which campaign they think will be the most successful, second most successful, and so on.

(b) Of the 6 campaigns that are being presented, the client account can then pick 5, in any order, as their top picks. How many different ways can the client account pick 5 advertising campaigns, from the 6 that were presented?

Since, the campaign are to be picked in an non repetative manner and any 6 of the 10 can be chosen, we will use permutation

Selecting 6 out of 10 = 10P6 = 10! / (10-6)! = 10!/4! = 10*9*8*7*6*5 = 151200

(b) Of the 6 campaigns that are being presented, the client account can then pick 5, in any order, as their top picks. How many different ways can the client account pick 5 advertising campaigns, from the 6 that were presented?

Selecting 5 out of 6 = 6P5 = 6! / (6-5)! = 6!/1! = 6*5*4*3*2*1 = 720
