Given that;
A club with eighteen members
we have choose three fficers president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer from this eighteen members.
Firstly we have to select one person to presisdent in 18c1 ways and give them pne office.
we have 17person .again select one person to vice president and give then another office it can be done by 17c1 way
Again we have 16 remaining person
Again we have to select one person for secretary-treasurer in 16c1 ways & give them remaining office
By multiplication principle;
Total number of ways are = 18c1*17c1*16c1
= 18*17*16
= 4896 ways
