Homework Answers

Answer #1

Example :

Suppose I created a training module of mathematics for students which will help them to improve their marks.

Then I will randomly pick 20 students.

First I will take the test and record their marks.

Then I will ask all of them to go through the training module and after that is completed I will again take a test and record their marks.

For this study

An Independent variable is a group of students (Before test and after test)

The dependent variable is the difference in the marks in the test.

Let

be the average of marks of all students before the test and

be the average of marks of all students after the test

Let

=   -

Null Hypothesis:

H0: = 0
