For transactions per minutes = ( 5 / 15 ) = 0.3333

  the new mean of processed transactions if the time is changed to a 25 minute interval is,

= transactions per minutes * 25 = 8.33

Total number inspected for California emissions compliance.= N = 15

Number of compliant = s = 12

Number of not compliant = 3

sample size= n=7
