In a comunity every summer a city party is organized. For the past two years, the comunity has conducted a survey to find out what proportion of
the residents who appreciate the city party. In 2018, 250 residents were invited and off
these were 80 satisfied with the city party and in 2019 63 out of 300 were pleased.
(a) Calculate a 95% confidence interval for the difference between proportion of satisfied during
2018 and 2019. Formulate an interpretation of the interval.
(b) Briefly describe how data collection should be carried out for the conditions to become
fulfilled. Check the conditions as far as possible.
