Would you favor or oppose a law which would require a person to obtain a police permit before he or she could buy a gun?

What is the independent variable and the dependent variable?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Personally, I would prefer to favour a law, which would require a person to obtain a police permit before a person can buy a gun. This is because, there should be a specific reason for one's buying a gun, and the police should consider whether or not the reason is important enough, and then give or refuse the permit.

So, the buying of the gun depends on the police permit. If the permit is given, one can buy a gun; else not.

Here,

The indepndent variable is : The issue of a police permit.

The dependent variable is : Buying of the gun.
