Regression/Correlation differs from ANOVA and t-test in what way?

Regression/Correlation differs from ANOVA and t-test in what way?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In regression/correlation the one data set is Independent variable and another is for dependent variable and we try to draw relation between these two variables and in case of ANOVA and t test the two samples ( t test) or three samples ( ANOVA) are independent to each other. So that's the difference between two . In ANOVA and t test we check difference of means while in case of regression we check that if equation coefficient we get is significant or not.

There are cases where samples are matched in case of t test and that t test is known as Paired t test.
