The data ( in ascending order )

64, 68, 68, 68, 68, 70, 70, 70, 70, 71, 71, 71, 72, 73, 73, 73, 78, 80, 82

a) MEDIAN: As we know that median is the value that divides the data set in 2 equal parts.

Now, n= 19 i.e odd number so

Median = ( n+1)/2 th value i.e 10th value i.e 71

MEDIAN= 71 INCHES

b) Range = maximum- minimu = 82 - 64 = 18 inches

c) MODE : we know that the number that repeats most of the time in the data set is the mode.

So in here we have 2 mode i.e 68 and 70

  MODE= 68 AND 70
