Making Comparisons (STATISTICS)
Is it fair to compare two different countries on differing levels of happiness for example? Why or why not?
(Hint: these are not all “unfair” otherwise we would not be able to make any comparisons, unless you believe that we should not make any comparisons. If this is so, please defend yourself).
Answer:
It is not fair to compare two different countries on differing levels of happiness because the happiness of a country depends on various factors like population, literacy rate, geographic condition, job satisfaction, and family life. some people argue that economic prosperity, increased wages, and reduced commodity prices are few factors that have a direct influence on happiness.
A country with less population and great infrastructure leads to more happiness, for example, Newzealand is a small (population) country as compared to India. So, Newzealand people are happier than Indians.
