Given: Total  car salespersons selected in sample = N = 65

Fourteen people answered that they generally sell two cars;

nineteen generally sell three cars;

twelve generally sell four cars;

nine generally sell five cars;

eleven generally sell six cars.

Thus frequency distribution table is:

N = 65

We have to find the mode.

Mode is the random variable value whose frequency is maximum.

From above table maximum frequency is 19 and it corresponds to Number of Car sell = 3

Thus Mode = 3
