Answer #1

Solution :

We are given a data of sample size n = 5

5,10,15,20,25

Using this, first we find sample mean() and sample standard deviation(s).

=

= (5 + 10.......+ 25)/5

= 15

Now ,

s =

= [(5 - 15)2 + ... + (25 - 15)2] /5 - 1

=  250/4

=  62.5

s = 7.91

Answer : The sample standard deviation (s) 7.91
