The teachers met two additional criteria 1 they possessed at least 3 years of teaching experience in the primary grades, and 2 they taught in a class where at least half the students were ELs.Twenty percent of the teachers were Hispanic, 10% Asian–Pacific Islander, 20% African American, and half were Caucasian.
