We have data regarding the couples satisfaction before participating in the Gottman retreat and one week after participating in the retreat. It means we have repeated measure on couple satisfaction. We can compare the mean satisfaction level of the couples before participating in the Gottman retreat with the mean satisfaction level of couples one week after participating in the retreat to answer the research question.

Since, we have repeated measures and we are comparing the two population means, therefore repeated mesures t-test (paired t-test) is the most appropriate statisical test Kendyl should use to analyze her data and answer the research question.
