Answer #1

Variation is basically a measure of consistency that means if something or someone has a high variation that means consistency is low and if the variation is low that shows higher consistency.

Some practical uses of variation are:

1. Variation in marks in mathematics class, it helps us to identify how inconsistent a student is.

2. Variation in weather throughout the year, it helps us to identify how weather changes during a year in a particular city.

3. Variation in Body temperature of a person, it helps us to identify how the temperature of a person changes.

Variation is always compared with the average to understand the consistency of the variable being measured.

Good luck with your studies!!!
