b. With the upcoming release of Super Mario Maker 2 (June 2019!), you decide to work on your skills. One common technique required is known as a shell jump. These can be done with all kinds of shells, and you wonder if people will make more shell jumps using green shells than red shells (since green has good connotations in the world, while red has bad connotations). You plan to take a bunch of Mario players and have each try 20 shell jumps (of either green or red). Then, you’ll compare how people do on average.

c. Right now, the most popular video game (based on some online polls) is Fortnite. As with most modern games, in-game purchases generate huge revenue for companies. You’re curious if the average in-game purchase by Fortnite players is less than $500, which you view as the threshold for “gaming addiction”. After taking a random sample of 97 Fortniters, you find they spent, on average, $572.
