1. Since the collection of all votes is considered parameter, 39.82% of votes will also be a parameter.

(a) The total no. of votes cast in all presidential election will only be an exact number, thus it will be discrete.

(c) As stated in the problem, Lincoln received 39.82% of 1,865,908 votes. Thus, Lincoln received (39.82/100) * 1,865,908 = .3982* 1,865,908 = 743,004.5656 votes

2. If the U-turn energy bars contain no fat at all, then also it can contain only 100% less fat than any other brand. So 125% is a wrong number.

3. As stated in the problem, 19% of the tested homes have radon levels above the same limit. Thus the actual number of tested homes that have unsafe levels of radon = (19/100) * 237= 45.03= 45 homes

(c) As given, 30 homes out of 186 were having radon levels above the safe limit. So, the percentage of homes above the maximum safe level = (30/186) * 100% = 16.13%
