What is the difference between SAMPLE/IMPERFECT INFORMATION versus PERFECT INFORMATION?
Perfect Information
In game theory Perfect information is reffered to the scenario when each player has the same information in terms of quality and quantity that would be available at the end of the game. That is, each player knows or can see other player’s moves. A very good example would be chess, where each player sees the other player’s pieces and moves on the board as the game proceeds.
Imperfect Information
Imperfect information is appeared when decisions have to be made simultaneously, and players need to balance all possible outcomes when making a decision. A good example of imperfect information games is a card game where each player’s card are hidden from the rest of the players.
