What would be the Type I error rate if a series of t-tests were performed instead of the ANOVA test? Show your work.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Here we have three groups so we perform three t-test at level of significance so the type I error that is will get add three times that means the type I error will increases this will affect our result so we will use anova instead of indivisual t-test.
