Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer : Calculate the Standard Error using the following information:

ΣX i = 1.1

ΣX i^2 = 898

n = 16

Solution:

Standard error = /√n

Therefore,

Standard deviation, :

= [ ΣX i^2/n-( ΣX i/n)^2]

= [898/16 - (1.1/16)^2]

= (56.125 - 0.0047)

= 56.1208

= 7.4914

Therefore,

Standard error = /√n

= 7.4914/√16

= 7.4914/4

= 1.872850

~ 1.873
