1. Are the following events statistically significant? Explain.
   1. The Cleveland Browns (the team with the worst record in football) defeats the team with the best record in the NFL.

2. The same Cleveland Browns win the remainder of their games this season.

a) Yes, this event is statistically significant.

As it is pretty known fact that statistics deals with probabilities of an event and no random event has an absolute 0 probability (provided it is not impossible) so even in this football game the probability that the worst team will lose against the best team is not 1 that is not sure, even though the probability of winning might be very small but i can't be zero, hence we can say this is statistically significant.

b) altough this event is quite unlikely but we can't ignore the fact that this is not a event with 0 probability that is even if winning all the games is not easy but it isn't impossible.

There is some probability/significance for each event and that can't be ignored.
