Given that,

Population mean = = 12

Sample mean = = 11.6

Sample standard deviation = s = 0.3

Sample size = n = 20

The test statistics,

t = ( - )/ (s/)

= ( 11.6 - 12 ) / ( 0.3 / 20 )

= -0.596

The test statistic is -0.596
