Answer #1

On comparing standardized mortality ratio for golfers adjusting (age, sex and socio economic status) is lower as compared with non golfers it doesn't mean that the playing golf improves ones health

Reason: There can be many reasons behind lower "standardized mortality ratio" for golfers and one of it is socio economic status. As people say golf is a rich man's game. Golfers are generally financially strong. They can afford good medical care and attention and this could lead to low mortality rate as compared to non golfers.

This is one reason. There can be many reasons behind it.
