1. prior statistical skills: finding mean, median, mode, standard deviation, variance, covariance, probability distribution, bayes theorem and permutation & combination.

2.new skills acquired: gathering data, trashing data, summarizing data, calculation on data, doing analysis. Onother things is selecting appropriate variable, finding p or t value, drawing graphs etc.

3.how to apply: in all the places where we work, there are lot of data. We will collect that data, trash it, summarize it, and will find some valuable information from it. We can increase productivity of that firm by making good use of our social statistics knowledge.
