Sample mean = = (7.43 + 9.07) / 2 = 8.25

Margin of error = E = Upper confidence interval -   = 9.07 - 8.25 = 0.82

t/2,df = 2.650

s = E * n / t/2,df

= 0.82 * 14 / 2.650

= 1.158

Sample standard deviation = 1.158 = 1.16
