The probability that a person has type B blood is 0.2158 and the probability that a person is female with B blood is 0.2577.

Because these events are not equal, are they dependent?

And the multiplication rule is P(A and B) = P(A) P (B l A)

I'm having trouble with this equation. My question is to justify my conclusion that these are dependent events using the appropriate rule of probability (which I think is the multiplication rule).

Please help! Thanks
