Sample space here will Discrete and infinite i.e there will be infinite countable number of events in the sample space

2) The random experiment of observing if US Airways arrives on time, if it is delayed, or if the flight is cancelled

Sample space here will be 3 dimensional and discrete. It will be 3 dimensional because it has 3 possibilities either on time or late ot cancelled and within each these types there will be furthur number of flights)
