So the Probability that a randomly selected person regularly consumes both = P(coffee and soda) =

P(coffee U soda) = P(coffee) + P(soda) - P(coffee and soda)

0.7 = 0.4 + 0.45 - P(coffee and soda)

P(coffee and soda) = 0.15.

B) The probability that a randomly selected adult doesn’t regularly  consumes at most one of these two products = 1 - Probability that a person consumes atleast one of these two products regularly

= 1 - 0.7 = 0.3
