in your own words, what is a P-Value and what does it tell us?
P value.
When we Conuct a hypothesis test in statistics, the p-value helps us determine the significance of our results. Bsically P value is the area the we clculate or interpret throug the various Statistics table through stat , t stat, f- ratio and compare it wwith the level of significance to test our claim., Hypothesis tests are used to test the acceptablity of a claim that is assumed about a population. The claim that is on trial, is called the null hypothesis.
When the p value calculated or computed via graph is less thaan level of signiicance value we reject the null hypothesis made and if tis p value is greated than the level of significance vale than we fail to reject. If tehp value is very less than we consier rare event rule.
The p value is shown through below plloted graph.
