Since the editor asked on the psychic colum, there is a bias because generally people who have felt the presence of a spirit in their homes are the audience of a psychic column, also since the people have to respond themselves , people who have had such experiences are inclined to respond to this, therefore these are the bias behind the surprising numbers.

the survey should have been conducted by editor himself selecting the readers randomly and then asking them the question
