Answer

Normality assumption is very important, it can't be violated. So I recommend don't do any hypothesis test now. Because the test may be invalid. If possible you could collect another sample with adequate sample size. Remember your sample must contain atleast 10 success and 10 failures. If you can collect more than 30 sample , then Central Limit Theorem kicks in and now you can conduct a Single sample Proportional Hypothesis test.

A Poll wants to know how many people will vote third party. They ask 500 people if theyre voting 3rd party. 20/500 people say they plan on it. You want to create a 96% confidence interval for the true proportion of all people who plan on voting third party. What is the 96% confidence interval? Suppose you have determined that the poll you will analyze is indeed reliable, and the poll results show 324 respondents out of 1000 said they will vote for your candidate. Are the assumptions necessary for this test to be valid satisfied? Group of answer choices Yes, there are enough successes and failures observed in the sample. No, the sample size is too small. Yes, there are enough successes and failures expected under the null hypothesis. Yes, there are more than...

If you were conducting the two-sided hypothesis test, Ho: μ = 65 Ha: μ ≠ 65 at the 5% significance level, would you reject or fail to reject Ho. I don't want you to conduct a full hypothesis test here. Instead, note that one of the above CIs is equivalent to conducting this test. Tell me which interval and explain why you decided to reject or fail to reject based on this interval. 1. Suppose you are going to construct...

A political candidate has asked you to conduct a poll to determine what percentage of people support him. If the candidate only wants a 4% margin of error at a 97.5% confidence level, what size of sample is needed? When finding the z-value, round it to four decimal places. You want to obtain a sample to estimate a population proportion. At this point in time, you have no reasonable preliminary estimation for the population proportion. You would like to be...
