n = Size of the Sample to be selected out of N

Step 1: Assign Roll Numbers starting from 1 to each and every student

Step 2:

Refer the Random Number Table

Start from any number in the Table.

Find out the number of digits in N.

For example, if N = 728, number of digits = 3.

If N the first 3 digits of the first random number, then those first 3 digits for Sample 1.

If N > the first 3 digits of the first random number, discard that random number.

Step 3:

Take the next random number.

Repeat the procedure described in Step 2.

Step 4:

Continue the procedure till we get all the n samples.

In this way, RCC instructor can pick the sample.
