Discuss a specific situation where clustering is used, or could be used, in telecommunications. Which clustering method is being used or would be appropriate and why?

Clustering is generally used for unsupervised machine learning problems. In unsupervised ML we do not know what is the out come of each row of data. Example if we are lokking at a data which has variables that do not fit in a set where one variable can be a combined out come of others, we use clustering there. CLustering helps us give insight into data in such a way that is groups similar type of data together.

In telecommunication we can use clustering to group similar kind of customers based on their kind of usage of telecom service and devise a unique plan for each cluster. We can use K means here.
