Suppose that a player needs to roll a 11 or higher on at least one of the dice to succeed

out of 20 out comes

now we need to find out the  probability of success..?

that is,

10 are less than 11 and 5.5 grater than equal to 11

we know that,

probability of success = P(at least one dice shows a higher)

= 1- P( none of two dive shows 14 higher )

= 1- (10/20) * (10/20)

= 1- (0.5) * (0.5)

= 1-0.25

= 0.75

= 0.75 * 100

= 75 %

The  probability of success = 75%
