One can record the amount of hours one spends on different activities throughout the day, like work, travel, leisure, sleep.

Observe this trend for say a year.

One can compute mean hours spent on each type of activity.

Using this data , one can see if there is a need to reallocate hours.

The other data that one could observe is, what was the salary of person at different ages, and if there is any strong or weak correlation between the two. We can regress salary on age.
