The definitions of type I and type II error are,

Type I error is nothing but reject the null hypothesis but actually it is true.

and type II error is nothing but fail to reject the null hypothesis when it is actually false.

Here sample suggests that the food is safe that fails to reject the null hypothesis but actually it is not safe that is actually it is false.

So this is an example of Type II error.
