The following are salaries from 24 human resource managers. Using the raw measurement data presented, determine whether there is a statistically significant difference between the salaries of female and male human resource managers. Create an SPSS data file and conduct the appropriate statistical test. Answer the following questions based on your analyses.
a) What is your independent variable and its scale of measurement?
b) What is your dependent variable and its scale of measurement?
c) Paste the output of your statistical analysis below.
d) Create an appropriate graph based on the data and paste it below
e) Write a brief results section in APA format, referring to the table. If relevant, provide the confidence interval and effect size. Remember to specifically state whether you accept or reject the null hypothesis.

Please note that we can analyse this using the open source statistical packages , we cant provide solutions using spss as this is a paid software
Please see the excel screenshots below
we enter the details in excel and then goto > data > data analysis tab and select t test
please note that it is a 2 tail test as we are interested only in the difference part
assuming alpha of 0.05 , we see that the p value is
0.6368
which is not less than 0.05 , hence we fail to reject the null hypothesis
only when p value < alpha we reject the null hypothesis
as he results are not signficant , no further analysis is needed
