For univariate analysis, our data should consists of only one variable. Parametric test used to analyze univariate data is : (A) t test for single population mean(one sample t test) Assumptions: (1) the parent population is normal. (2) sample observations are independent. (3) the population standard deviation is unknown. Nonparametric test used to analyze univariate data is : (A) one sample wilcoxon signed rank test : it is used to test wheter the median of sample is equal to known standard value. Assumptions are: (1) Difference between data values and hypothesized median are contineous. (2) difference between data values and hypothesized median are mutually independent. (3) scale of measurement of data should be ordinal.
