What types of results could the regression analysis yield? How could you use the knowledge gained from the test?

The regression analysis yeilds the ANOVA test which basically tests for the significance of participant variables in the regression. It also tells us the standardized weights of the variables, which can be compared with each other.

Results of regression also yeilds diagnostics like : Rsquare which tells us the predictive power of the independent variables , the correlation analysis and variation inflation factor which gives us an idea of multicollinearity between predictive variables.

We also get the AIC and the likelihood ratio which tell us about the model fit.
