Does music genre have an effect on cognitive tasks? A researcher splits a group of 30 randomly selected people and randomly assigns them to music A or music B and then has them perform 40 mental tasks while listening to their assigned music type. After they are finished their scores were averaged and compared for any differences. Run the proper t test.
