Estimate the average amount the hair on your head grows per year. I’m asking about your hair, not people’s hair in general.

For full credit,

a. Devise a plan to estimate the answer

b. Carry out that plan and state your estimate of that length, in either mm or inches.

c. Explain to me how you know that your answer to Part b is a good guess

a) As i have seen in past that after the haircut my front head hairs are way above my eyebrows and i got for hair cut when they grows such that they cross my eyebrows and touch eyelids,so the length that grows between my two haircuts is approx 1cm -2cm. lets assume average as 1.5cm

Since I go for haircut everymonth or in 40 days so we can assume surely that the rate of hair growth as 1.5cm/ month .

b) The length that grows every year i.e 12 months is 12*1.5 cm= 18 cm or approximately 18*0.39 = 7 inch

c) Answer in part b is a good guess because if i dont cut my hair for a year they surely crosses my neck and the length from top of my head to neck is approx 5 to 7 inches , so my estimate is a good guess.
