In an experiment, you want to see if, when trying to stick to a diet, the number of meals per day and/or the number of calories per meal affected a person's ability to stick to their diet. Each subject was given a number of meals to eat per day: either 3, 4, or 5. Each subject was also given a number of calories to eat per meal, either 200, 250, or 300 calories. Use this information for the next two problems.

How many factors are there in this experiment? (Use the class definition of factor, not the more general English definition.)

How many treatments are there in this experiments? (If it helps, you can list them and then count them.)
