A situation where you can compare the before-and-after measurements(which is also a common statistics question) is to compare the effects of new drugs on a disease or the body. It is a very important statistical research idea since it gives us insight on the potential negative and positive effects of the drug on the body. A good controlled experiment and proper collection of necessary data can result in a good research experiment.

To conduct such research experiments, we can use animals in the initial stages and if we get a positive feedback, we can proceed with humans who are volunteering to take part in the study.
