Total number of cars manufactuted by all plants in a year ?

6% of plant 3 manufactured cars claim warranty

So, 94% of plant 3 manufactured cars do not claim warranty

These 94% of plant 3 mfd cars = 352500
So, total plant 3 mfd cars = 352500/.94 = 375,000 cars

Hence,

Total number of cars manufactuted by all plants in a year? = total plant 3 mfd cars divided proportion of cars mfd by plant 3

= 375000/.25
= 1500000

Answer: 1,500,000 cars mfd in total
