Provide the examples of research questions that are related to ttest & ANOVA. Please relate it to a sports research question.

T test

Suppose we want to see whether a basketball player scores more in his home matches than the matches played away. We can compare this using a sample of scores of the player at home and away. Then we test whether the mean of home>mean of away. This is an example of a two sample t test.

ANOVA test

Suppose we want to find whether the mean scores of three batsmen are significantly different for the last 10 matches played. Since we have k=3 treatments here and we want to compare the means this is an ANOVA test. After the conclusion of ANOVA comes we can decide whether we can find which mean is significant different from the other(using tukey Kramer method, if we Reject the null hypothesis in ANOVA)
