Answer #1

If by MAD, you are referring to Median Absolute deviation,

Data in ascending order: 0.23, 0.36, 0.41

Median = 0.36

Take deviation from each value

|0.23 - 0.36| = 0.13

|0.36 - 0.36| = 0

|0.41 - 0.36| = 0.05

Deviations in ascending order = 0, 0.05, 0.13

Median of the deviations = 0.05

Median absolute deviation, MAD = 0.050

If by MAD, you are referring to Mean Absolute deviation,

Mean = (0.23 + 0.36 + 0.41)/3 = 0.3333

Deviations are = |0.23 - 0.3333| = 0.1033

|0.36 - 0.3333| = 0.0267

|0.41 - 0.3333| = 0.0767

Mean absolute deviation = (0.1033 + 0.0267 + 0.0767)/3

= 0.069
